Barrett Metzger serves as Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor for The Foutch Metzger Group. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is licensed by the state of Kentucky for life insurance and health insurance. Barrett also holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant ® designation having comprehensive knowledge of general retirement concepts, terminology, distinctive features of each plan and how financial professionals play a role in the retirement planning process. In addition, he served as a member of Baird’s Next Generation Advisory Council. This committee helps support Baird advisors in every stage of their early careers.
A Louisville, Kentucky native, Barrett graduated from Saint Xavier High School. He currently serves as a member of the Emerging Leaders Society, 2010 Class Agent, and formerly served as a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
As Captain of the Men's Soccer team, Barrett was a Patriot League Honor Roll member while graduating with Honors from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. Barrett remains actively involved in the successes of the Men’s Soccer program. Go Raiders!
Furthermore, Barrett enjoys his role in serving on the Board of Directors of the Barren County YMCA and the T. J. Community Mission Foundation.
Barrett, and his wife, Rachel, are both avid University of Kentucky fans and enjoy attending both football and basketball games.
